Step Up To Quality is the state’s voluntary star-rating program for child care and preschool. All programs licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services are eligible to apply for a Star Rating. Programs must meet quality benchmarks above and beyond basic licensing to earn a Star Rating.

Center for Disease Control – Early Intervention Helphas great resources to help you understand if your child is developing appropriately. There are lists of milestones and suggestions if you have concerns.
The TOTS program is a 12-week Saturday parenting and school-readiness course for parents living in the East Dayton/Ruskin neighborhood and parents in the West Dayton/Edison neighborhood. Parents (including pregnant moms) and their children ages zero to 5 years old are invited to attend to learn fun ways to help children prepare for kindergarten and beyond.
